A story telling session was conducted with the help of puppets. The session began with a narration of a story through a puppet show on good manners followed by board work on kind words elated to the topic. Lastly they enjoyed a game on good manners.

The students were given an insight on how to make eco- friendly Ganesh idols with the help of terracotta clay or natural clay. The main purpose behind organising the workshop was creating awareness among the students regarding celebration of Ganesh festival in an Eco- friendly manner. The students actively participated in the workshop learnt the basic skills of idol-making. This activity also helped in nurturing the creative abilities in them.

The climate change workshop- Sustainability Stars was conducted by Mr. Krunal Shah - Program Manager at Elixir Foundation Leading UNICEF (Partnership in Gujarat State). The Sustainability Stars Climate Change Workshop, was a dynamic and engaging event designed to educate and inspire young participants about the critical issue of climate change. The workshop focused on providing ageappropriate information and empowering messages to foster a sense of environmental responsibility among children.

Keval Shah from batch 2020-2021, 3rd year Graduate Arizona State University in the United states was invited for the talk as he is working as a technical head for the project and a sophomore majoring in computer science. He shared his experience how our school, teachers and her participation in the school events helped him in pursuing his goals. Alumni also interacted with the students and gave motivational talk regarding preparing for higher studies and placements. Students asked many questions regarding placements and the alumni shared his views.

An interactive and fun filled eye care workshop to improve vision related issues, relieving strain and preventing further deterioration. Spectacular eye care tips for Online learning and the activities that will enhance eye health were discussed in the session. Further awareness was given to students on the causes of Conjunctivitis and the ways to prevent themselves from infection. Students actively interacted with the resource person and clarified all their queries.

The objective of the workshop was to educate students about the importance of waste segregation and provide them with practical knowledge and strategies for effective waste management within the school premises. The workshop aimed to instil responsible waste disposal habits and promote a cleaner and healthier environment.

Mr. Khare emphasized on awareness of choice, personal responsibility, and understanding of consequences. Educating young people about the hazards of alcohol and other drug use and arming them with skills that deter drug use was an important component of the session. To combat student drug use, the entire community must be involved: parents, schools, students, law enforcement authorities, religious and community organizations was highlighted. Each of these groups must unite behind a consistent message that illegal drug use is wrong and harmful.

Ms. Simran had an interactive and inclusive session where the students had enriching experience of mental representation of feelings and experiences. The session gave an insight of empathetic attitude and to sensitize students towards emotional quotient. There were presentations made and delivered in groups by students hence creating empathetic tour charts. This session will benefit students to develop empathy extended to all areas of their life, in and beyond the classroom.

Being their role model , she inspired students to take pride in opting for Humanities, highlighting the various Career Options available for future prospects. She cleared doubts of students and motivated them to be self-determined and fully dedicated, to remain updated with current affairs, to use technology effectively, to read editorial columns in newspapers and most importantly to focus on NCERT content which will be helpful in preparing for competitive exams.

To widen the doors for higher education, Shanti Asiatic School welcomed expert counselors and university professionals from ‘SimplEd’, to conduct an extensive workshop to provide insight on all aspects of U.S higher education for Senior School students. The delegates threw light on major topics such as; Application process, Credit systems and transfer, Immigration and visa, Optional Practical Training and STEM extension, Scholarship program, Housing, Life after graduating and so on. They even discussed various programs offered at low cost along with quality education. Overall, it was an influential workshop for students to identify their career goals, set the education milestones and derive the clear pathways to achieve it, making best utilization of available resources.
