Dnyaneshwar Mulay, is an Indian career diplomat as well as a celebrated author and columnist. He currently holds office as the Secretary MEA (Ministry of External Affairs and Overseas Indian Affairs). He joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1983 and has since served in several capacities, including the Consul General of India, New York, and the High Commissioner of India, Male, Maldives. He is a successful writer and has written over 15 books, which have been translated in Arabic, Dhivehi, Urdu, Kannada and Hindi.

Priyank Panchal is an adroit sports personality. He made his first-class debut in the Ranji Trophy competition in 2008 against Suarashtra. In November 2016, he became the first player to score a triple century for Gujarat and also became the first player from Gujarat scoring 1000 runs in a single Ranji Trophy season. He was also the leading run-scorer for Gujarat in both the Vijay Hazare Trophy and Ranji Trophy for the 2018 -19 season

She is an Indian Butterfly stroke swimmer who has won the prestigious World Aquatic Championships as well as in short course swimming at 2009 Asian Indoor Games .In 2017 she became the First woman from Gujarat to swim the English Channel.

Neil Contractor is an eminent swimmer who has represented India in various international competitions. He was part of the four-member Indian team to win the Bronze Medal in 4×50 m Free style medley at the International School Sports Federation Swim Cup-2013 in Israel. He was the youngest member of the Indian Team in Asian Games 2014, held in Incheon Korea.

Ms. Kiran Mishra
Kiran Misra is a postgraduate in English Literature from IGNOU, a History graduate from LSR College, University of Delhi and a Diploma holder in Spanish, Portuguese, German and French from different certified institutes. Presently she is a Lecturer for Mass Communication & a visiting Professor at IGNOU as well as MGM college. She is an expert in English language & has been a Senior English Broadcaster at All India Radio for the last thirty years. She was also the translator for Prime Minister’s programme “Mann Ki Baat” for its first two years. Besides being proficient in several foreign languages, she is a regular judge for public speaking competitions held at prestigious school and has authored several books for graduation level.
A committed artist and a faculty of Art, he is known for his extensive work on Mahatma Gandhi. His paintings have been inspired by the illustrious life of Mahatma Gandhi and he has chosen to present these not purely as realistic renderings, rather he manages to convey the spirit, thought and philosophy of Mahatma through his paintings.
Shri Manhar Kapadia has taken up the challenge to paint the Mahatma which has left a strong footprint on the collective consciousness of India.

Meeta Pandit is a Hindustani Classical vocalist belonging to the Gwalior Gharana. She is the granddaughter and disciple of Krishnarao Shankar Pandit and daughter of Laxman Krishnarao Pandit. She is the sixth in the unbroken lineage and the first woman in the family to have taken up music as a profession.
She has collaborated with the Jazz pianist, Allie Delfau, as a part of an Indo-French project. She represented India as the Cultural Ambassador of India to Pakistan during the South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation (SAARC) Summit in Islamabad in 2004.

Dr. N. Rajam- A Violin Maestro
Dr. N. Rajam, the recipient of countless awards including one of the highest civilian honours in India, the Padmashree and the Padmabhushan.
She has countless awards to her credit including 2012 Sangeet Natak Akademi Fellowship, the highest honour in the performing arts conferred by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, India’s National Academy for Music, Dance and Drama.
A pioneer of the revolutionary Gayaki Ang, she is known as the ‘SINGING VIOLIN’.
Dr. Geeta Chandran
SAS Ahmedabad hosted Bharatnatyam Dance performance under the aegis of SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) on April 13, 2015. It was a lecture cum demonstration by the guest performer Padamshri Dr. Geeta Chandran.
She is the founder President of Natya Vriksha Dance Academy. Apart from being an exceptionally talented dancer, Dr. Chandran is also a trained Carnatic music vocalist and author of a book ‘So Many Journeys’.
The International level swimmer Ms Maana Patel visited SAS as a Chief guest in Bartiyam 2014-15. Maana Patel etched her name in history books after she broke three national records at the 40th Junior National Aquatics Championship.

The parenting workshop held on 8 February 2014 by noted Psychiatrists Dr. Ratna Bilwani discussed critical issues related to young children like bedwetting, food fads, speech difficulties, stubbornness and slow learning.
Dr Nimrat Singh
The parenting workshop held by SAS at AMA on 1 February 2014 by renowned psychologist Dr. Nimrat Singh who has a clinic TANGRAM and who is the author of PROACTIVE PARENTING focused at length on various aspects of adolescence like aggression, various addictions, poor scholastic performance as well as parenting attitudes.
In a brief, but well-organised function, held at the Shanti Asiatic School, Olympian and Star Shooter, Gagan Narang, stepped into the campus on the 26th of April, 2014, to kick start the two-month-long shooting summer camp, being organized here at the school premises.
SAS had a spellbound morning with Mohiniyattam dance organised by SPIC MACAY on April 18, 2013. The talented exponent, Ms Devika, had us both enriched and enthralled as she explained the significance of every gesture, every mudra and every bhav that she displayed.

To support the Government’s Drug Strategy on 25th June, 2013, SAS organized a workshop on Drug Abuse for senior students. The resource person Shri Hari Om Gandhi, Zonal Director of Narcotics Control Bureau, created awareness among students about the real life choices, challenges and risks related to substance abuse.

In our guest to introduce Health education as an integral part of schooling, we at SAS had Dr. Akhil Mukim (MD) and Dr. Shilpa Jasubhai (Clinical Psychologist) interacting with the parents and children on importance of a healthy mind and a healthy body. It was interesting to understand the concepts of maintaining a Health Card of the children and getting regular health check ups d ne for the children from a certified medical practioner.
Shri Ravi Saxena has been a respected member of Indian Administrative Service. He had a long and distinguished career of 35 years to his credit characterized by sincerity, commitment and achievement.
‘SAVE OUR SPARROWS – This event showed how the little sparrow has endeared itself to each child’s heart. The awareness-drive by noted environmentalist Shri Jagat Kinkhabwala motivated children towards providing home to increase their numbers.
I am very impressed by the exhibition, not only from the point of view of variety but also the message it gives to the students. I must compliment the teachers for a holistic approach. The techniques of teaching are changing rapidly and teachers have to be very innovative to keep pace with developments.! wish the school and children a bright future.
This school is going to be a magical place, a heaven for children, a great future ahead! Simplicity of the children lies in their egolessness, what we all need to imbibe is the innocence of children wherein lies their wisdom. The trustees of the school have a great vision ahead.
