Prabhat – 2017

September 8 & 9, 2017 Shanti Asiatic School Ahmedabad celebrated its annual exhibition with fervour and gusto. The campus was beaming with a vivacious atmosphere that enthralled the guests with great anticipation to witness another spectacular occasion to celebrate knowledge. As the name suggests “Prabhat” or dawn is a new awakening. And today all the guests witnessed the efforts taken by the entire SAS family to make this reverent dawning a possibility with utmost perseverance. It is a cumulative effort that was evident through a host of clubs. The inventive entrance gate evoked the same idea. The jigsaw puzzle blocks bearing the name of each club was clearly suggestive of team spirit and collaboration. The event was inaugurated by parents Mr Bharat Naik & Mrs Alka Naik and Bhavik Debar & Dhruti Debar. Shri Brijmohan Chiripal, the Chairman and Trustee graced the occasion.

Some of the highlights of Prabhat-2017 are – models by Science Club like Thermal Power Station, Alternative energy etc., Reading club was all about the power of reading, learning and having an immersive experience in the world of literary giants like Oscar Wilde, William Shakespeare and many more. The cookery Club had a well laid plan to take everyone on a gastronomic safari sure to tantalize the taste buds.Needle and Craft Club transported all to the good old days of grandmothers Eco Club was engaged in raising awareness about pressing issues like global warming and climate change through various exhibits. The SASMUN Club and Techno Wizard along with Robotics Club impressed everyone with their interesting presentations. So was the case of Theatre Club, the members enthralled all with their powerful performances.Wizard of Math Club made the math-devil seem more friendly and lovely to everyone. The members of Science Club replicated spacecraft models and well-illustrated various complexities of science with relative ease.The members of Design & Innovation Club transformed items of daily neglect into beacons for attention.

Students’ hard work really paid well. The Exhibition was a huge success and SAS students received a lot of appreciation from parents and visitors for their enthusiastic participation and outstanding talent.
