Hindi week was celebrated at SAS from 14.9.18 to 29.9.18. The objective of this celebration was to inculcate values of love and respect for Indian culture and the National language.
To commemorate this week different competitions as inter house competitions were organised in the school from Class I to XII. Some of the competitions were Nukkad Natak , Poem Recitation, Story Telling, Group Folk Songs, Mime etc.
The students expressed their views on the importance of right pronunciation, clarity and softness while speaking.
They were amused to learn about the role of Hindi language in National integrity and its flexiblility to adapt other cultures. The School Principal Mr. Abhay Ghosh also emphasised on the clear and correct pronunciation of Hindi words and motivated them to be truthful to their nation and respect the National language.
Vice Principal Ms. Sandhya Uday also inspired and motivated the children by telling the importance of rich Indian Culture.
