Career Counselling Session

Date: 11 Sept 2018
Venue: Multipurpose Hall
Time: 11:00 -11:50 am
Resource Person: Mr. Mohit Mangal
An enlightening career counselling session was organised for the students of std. IX and X, on choosing the right stream. Mr. Mangal gave some useful tips to the children as to what they should do to avoid confusion in choosing the subject stream after X.
These were:

  • They should think about which subject they like the most and which subject doesn’t fascinate them.
  • Which profession they want to choose in the future.
  • They should not blindly follow the friends and the trends.
  • Spending long hours for studying, good memorisation power, curiosity about how things work, good observational and analyzing power are the important steps.

Other career options were also discussed which the students can go for, if they can not relate to pure streams like medicine or engineering.

The session was presented in a very interesting way, and was quite informative.
It ended with a positive note that no career is the best or worst, but they should do what suits them and what they actually want to pursue as a career, and then to give their 100% .
